She had been wandering through this forest for ages it
seemed, or had it been mere moments? Time didn't know
her well enough to be willing to tell her himself, and
besides, it was nighttime now - such a rare thing here -
so perhaps Time was sleeping. One couldn't really say
for sure. Alice could barely see her hand in front of
her face in the shaded darkness, let alone any paths
that may or may not have decided to appear and guide her
out of the woods.
"Oh dear, I suppose I've become lost again.."
But as she spoke the words, she noticed a faint light
coming from the distance through the trees. She hurried
towards it as best she could while avoiding the limbs of
the trees, finding at her arrival to the clearing an all
too familiar garden. She saw a large table with a
strange assortment of chairs around it, many many tea
sets - some broken, others not - and the back of a tall
man with somewhat long black hair falling just past his
shoulders, laid under a top hat with a card sticking
from the brim labeled "In This Style - 10/6".
She smiled happily at the sight of her long lost.. well,
one could call them friends. But nevertheless, she was
glad to be back, and as the Hatter turned to see who
caused the rustling, she saw in his gleeful grin that
she wasn't the only one.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
